Go Dodgers!!

Sorry it has taken me a whole week to update, but here are a couple pictures of the baseball game we went to last weekend.  It was such a fun weekend, even though the majority of it was spent in the car.  We had a lot of fun.  

We had the one of the best hotel rooms in Phoenix.  We could see the Stadium from our window, and on Friday night they let off fireworks.  We had the best view.  Apparently, they do fireworks every Friday night.  On Saturday night we went to the game, and had so much fun.  It was Hispanic Appreciation Night!!  The Diamond Backs wore jerseys that said "Los D'Backs" across the front.  The Dodgers won, so that was a big plus for us. 

 

This is Manny Ramirez walking to his position on the field.  He is the left fielder, and Dave's favorite player.  This really was how close we were to him.  We were in the left field bleachers, row 3.   Manny hit 2 home runs in the game, the first one went right over our heads about 10 rows behind us.  It happened to go right to the biggest section of Dodgers fans in the stadium.

This was us just hanging out and enjoying the wonderful baseball game.

Vika's New Friend

Conner gave her one of his basketballs, and she actually really liked it.  She was trying so hard to hold onto it for as long as she could.  She got really mad one time when she dropped it and it rolled away.

Weekend Getaway!

  

I am so excited to say that tomorrow night I am leaving to go to Phoenix, AZ with my husband.  Yes that's right, we are leaving both kids!  My sister is taking Vika, and Dave's family is taking Conner.  Thanks so much you guys, you are the best! 

We are driving to St. George tomorrow night, and then bright and early Friday morning we are going to drive the rest of the way to Phoenix.  We are going to see the Diamond Backs play the Dodgers.  If you didn't already know, Dave is a huge baseball fan and the Dodgers are his team.  

He really wants to go to as many MLB fields as he can.  We have already been to 3 since we have been married.  Next month we are going to the east coast to see 3 more fields!  We are going to Yankee Stadium, Shey (Mets) Stadium, and Fenway (Red Sox).

Wish us luck on our long drive.  We will be back on Monday!  Hope you all have a great weekend, and Labor Day!

 

4 Months!!

Can you believe my little baby is already 4 months old?  I really have a hard time believing that.  She is so much fun, and just getting to be the cutest chuck ever!

Her Dr. appointment went really well.  She is totally healthy and happy!  She weighed in at 12 lbs. and 10 oz (as you can see in the picture below).  In the words of her Dr., "She is perfect".  I totally agree with him!!  

She was just staring at the nurse, who is actually one of my friends!
