Conner and Vika

The other day I laid Vika down in her boppy, and Conner had to get his pillow off of his bed and lay next to her.

By the way, Conner loves his baby sister so much.  He calls her "pretty girl", it just melts my heart when he says that.
He looks so big to me.  I seriously just can't get over how much he has grown since I had Vika.

Welcome, Baby Viktoria Jane

This is our little princess!!  She is only a day old in this pic.

This was taken just minutes after she was born!  She came out wide awake and happy!
As soon as I get pics from Dave's sister we will post ones of Conner and Vika together!

There Is An End In Sight

So, I just thought I would let you all know that I am being Induced tomorrow!!  You have no idea how ready I am to finally meet this little girl.  Hopefully, we will get pics up right away for all of you to see.  

I think the thing that I am most scared about, is Conner not liking her.  I am so afraid that he will turn into this huge monster and just totally resent her.  I know its not very likely, but it still freaks me out.  I just see how much he loves his little cousin Preston, and I just hope that he will be the same way with Vika.  He has been having problems lately with not listening to Mommy, and I think it will only get worse when she comes.  Is this true, or am I just being paranoid?

Do any of you have any advice you could give me to make feel better about my son?

Aquarium

Conner loved to just sit and look at the fish swimming around.  I was actually trying to get him to look at me and say cheese, but he wouldn't listen to me.

Conner turned around and said cheese, and had this funny face!!   Payton is to the left of Conner (he is Conner's unofficial cousin), and half of Tyson is to the right of Conner.  They are looking in one of the jellyfish tanks. 

We had a lot of fun at the Aquarium (in Sandy)!  Conner loves to see fish, and he was excited about the sharks.  I think he spent the most time looking at the jellyfish.  He also really liked to stick his hand in the water to pet the stingrays.

Color, Color, Color!!!

Conner loves to color!  He especially loves Color Wonder pictures (I love the Color Wonder markers, they are the best invention).  This is him coloring his new Thomas book.
He is very proud of himself when he colors.
He loves to hook the markers together, and say that he built a tower!  I should also mention that when he is coloring I am blogging!  Its so great!

Peek-A-Boo

Conner and Tyson were watching a movie in my parent's bedroom.  Dave went to check on the boys and found Conner sitting in my Dad's closet quietly watching the movie.  Right before I could a get a picture of him sitting in the closet he sat up and started saying, "Cheese."  Doesn't he just look so innocent?

My Crazy Boy!

Conner and Grandma Teri had a lot fun during General Conference!  He just wanted her to turn her cell phone on and off.  The reason for this is because it was so incredibly loud.  He would grab his head and say, "So Loud." And then ask her to do it again.
This was the other face he pulled while they were playing their little cell phone game.  Let me just mention that we didn't hear a whole lot of conference because of this little boy.  He was better than I had expected, given the fact that he didn't get a nap and Auntie Lissa and Jojo weren't there to entertain him.

The Good and The Bad...

What is Good and Bad about being Pregnant?

1. Good: You can eat as much as you want.

    Bad: Everything you eat gives you heartburn.

2. Good: You can complain about anything, and people understand.

    Bad: When you do complain people pity you.

3. Good: People are always willing to give you their chair.

     Bad: When you do sit down, you are completely uncomfortable and would much rather stand.

4. Good: You don't have to feel guilty about taking a nap.

     Bad: You are so uncomfortable when you lie down that you can't possibly take a nap.

5. Good: You get to feel your baby moving inside you.

    Bad: When your baby does move all she wants to do is kick your ribs or kick you in the bladder.

Football Fun

Conner really looks like he up to something, doesn't he?

Conner loves to play football with his Daddy!  When Conner wants Dave to tackle he says, "Daddy 2-6, 2-6, tackle" and then runs up to Dave so that he can tackle him.  I love to watch them play together, its hilarious!
