I never take the time to rant on my blog, but today I am going to. Just to warn you this is really long and pretty boring, but I had to do this for myself. Its helps me feel better when I can rant/vent.
I really hate it when babies won't sleep. I put Vika in bed at 10:30 yesterday morning. This is her normal morning nap time. It was weird when she wasn't asleep after an hour of talking in her bed. She will normally only talk for 15 min. max. Then after an hour she was crying inconsolably. I tried giving her an extra binki so that I wouldn't have to go upstairs quite as often. She would cry every time she would drop one. She had one in her mouth, and one on the floor, and she was hysterical. I decided to be a bad mom and just leave her screaming in her bed in hopes that she would cry herself to sleep. By noon I was sick of running upstairs and listening to her scream, so I got her out of bed. I fed her lunch all the while she was screaming at me. When she was screaming to the point I couldn't handle it anymore I took up to bed. She then proceeded to scream until about 4:30. I got her out of bed and took her outside (thats her happy place). She screamed at me some more. I was so done that I decided to walk to the park just to make her stop. I hadn't showered, done my makeup or anything. I looked amazing. Conner was very excited to go to the park. We get there and she is the happiest baby. She was smiling and talking to everyone. It got way too windy for me, so we went home for some dinner. She started screaming again. I tried giving her all of her favorite foods and nothing was doing any bit of good. I finally just gave her some motrin, and got her ready for bed. This was 6:oopm. She cried for about 30 min. and then she was out cold. I have never had her do this to me. I was so snippy with Conner, and he thought I was mad at him. I obviously don't do well with all day screaming.
I just hope today is a much better day than yesterday!!!

That sounds really rough. I hope today is better for you!
Cheryl, I totally feel for you! I hate those kinds of days...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that today will be tons better!
I am so sorry! That's sucks!
My guess is that she is teething. But that's just a guess.
I hope it was just a fluke and she is back to her normal sunny self ASAP!
Oh Cheryl, I'm sorry! I hate days like those! I wonder what was keeping her up? She's too cute to put her mom through that. I've had mornings like that with Carlee, but by the afternoon she's falls asleep.
Here to hoping she's better for you today!
Wow Cheryl I am exhausted just reading about your day. I am so sorry you had to live it. I hope you had a better day!
I hate days like this. Good job though, at least you didn't drop them off to Grandma's and run!
Gosh, I feel so bad...
I was going to go over and talk with you that day, but that was just about the time you headed to the park.
I would've traded kids. Sometimes you need a break! Heck, I could've at least watched her long enough for you to take a shower.
Anytime it happens again, come on over and drop her off! :D
I'm soooo sorry. Crying days are the worst. I hope she hasn't done it since.
