Happy Birthday Vika!!

My little baby is already 1.  I can't believe it.  It went by too fast for me.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!  I couldn't imagine my life without you.  You make me smile and laugh every day!!  You are such a sweet little girl and you are so adventurous.  I love it when you say words, and talk gibberish all day long.  I hope you have a great day!!

Conner Quote

Conner said he was reading his M&M's bottle (mini m&m's).  I asked him what it said and his response was, "It says M&M's are so yummy."

He makes all of us laugh so hard every day.  We are seriously so blessed to have such a character at our house!!

Helpful Conner

Please don't judge me.  I didn't do Vika's hair this day.  She is still really cute with yogurt all over her face.

Conner was helping out.  We have never let him feed her before.  I was busy and Dave had just gotten home and before we realized he was feeding Vika.  I forget sometimes that he is a big boy.  I want him to stay young forever, ok maybe not.

Crazy Conner

One of Conner's favorite things to say is, "How do I look?"  He does this pose everytime he says it.  He will get dressed and immediately ask me what I think.  

Sometimes he gets confused and says it a little different, "How I think", instead of "What do you think?"

Pull Ups!!

Vika loves to pull herself up to everything.  The place she loves the most is the bathroom, and of course the toilet.  Sometimes she will pull herself up to tables and couches and chew on them.  

She is so adventurous.  I finally got her on video, but I have to apologize because in this video she had just fallen down, and she never pull herself up.  I will try again later!!  I just think she is so cute no matter what she is doing, except for screaming for no reason.

Conner Sayings

Conner has been saying/doing some really funny things!  I am going to try to remember to write them down and I will share them with you!

My favorite one right now is when he is getting in trouble, "Excuse me.  Stop talking to me"  And then he either walks away from me or turns his back to me.

I love it when he says, "Um, I don't think so."  He likes to say that when I tell him its bedtime, or time to clean up.

He loves to pretend like he is going to work.  He grabs his little Thomas the Train computer, puts on his shoes and walks out to the garage.  Sometimes he will sit down with his computer and say that he is doing his homework.

He likes to pretend that he is someone/something else.  He will slither around like a snake, bark like a dog, cry like a baby.  He will even have me call him characters from his movies.  He likes to be Simba (Lion King), Panda (Kung Fu Panda).  He is now getting really into Knights and fighting.

Yummy Yummy!!

Vika is getting so big, and its partly because of her love of food.  She will eat almost everything I give her.  Some of her favorite foods right now include: green beans, carrots, pears, peaches, mandarin oranges, bananas, and peas.  She is so good about meal time that whenever I give her something new she will play with it for a minute and then put it in her mouth.  This is such a new experience for me because Conner was never like that.  He is still really picky and most people haven't ever seen him eat unless its junk food.  I am so glad to have one healthy eater!!!

Notice the untouched carrots.  I gave her some bread and she wanted nothing to do with the rest of her lunch.
